Show Notes...

Here we are with our fourth show wrapped up. Wow it's coming along, and I hope everyone in enjoying the show. Anyway here's links to stuff we talked about this week.

First we mentioned an up and coming interveiw with Alien Skin Software, and we'll mention more details very soon.

The big topic this week was workflow, with photoshop actions, and how they can help us be better at what we do. I mentioned my favorite commercially available action sets from Kevin Kubota, as well as Craigs Actions. Both have some really great actions, and I suggest checking them out. I also mentined free free actions from the Adobe Studio Exchange, and that's a great place to share you actions, and get new ones.

I also mentioned using my Xkeys keyboard in my workflow, and how much it helped me... So what are you waiting for? Go check this stuff out. Oh and on the way drop your vote for the show in Podcast Alley, or give a review on itunes.

Have a great week... Gavin Seim

Show Notes...
We talked today about joining some new photography forums. First mentioned was Open Source Photo, an that is a free forum. Then Pro Photo Home, and you can become a member there for a fairly low cost. Next discussed was fredmiranda.com, where you can not only find a forum, but also lots of great reviews and comments about equipmemt you may be looking at purchasing etc. I also mentioned the digital image cafe, and there you can post photo's for crituiqe, enter contests, and all kinds of fun stuff.

Other than that we talked about ideas for taking charge, and presenting yourself professional, and confident to your client, but we don't really have many noted here exepct a link to overnightprints.com, where you can get a great deal on full color bussiness cards to add quality to your pro image. With that I will say, hope you enjoyed the show, and I'll catch ya next week.

Show Notes...
This week on the Pro Photographer Show, we're talking about all sorts of things.
First as I mention throughout the show, we want your input, as well as paticipation on the show. As photographers it is all of us who will make the pro photo show great.

In news and equipment there was not much discussed this week, but I did metion the Canon Rebel Xti because it has some great specs for the price range, even though it's not a pro body.
You can check that out here on Canon's website.

Mainly what we discussed was backup plans, and needs, as well as some ideas ragrding putting ENERGY into our photography work. Be enthusiastic! There's not much more to post here in the notes, as you should get all you need from the podcast. Please aim your feedback, and comments to prophotoshow@gmail.com

Have a great week, and keep shooting... Gavin Seim

This is sort of the intro show, so theres not a ton of discussion going on, but we do have a few notes on things we talked about on the show. First we talked about ideas in photo presentation for our clients, and methods of getting our work to look great for our customers.
I mentioned the philips 7" digital photo frame, which seems to be a really neat product.
I'll give a full review once I get one in my hands, but in the meantine you can check in out here

We also talked about gps navigation, for getting to our photo shoots. I know I didn't review specific items, but here is a link to a review on some models that pc world mag did.

Theres not a whole lot more to talk about here, but remember to send emails/audio comments to prophotoshow@gmail.com. You can also visit my website at www.seimphotography.com
