Well this week we had a great interview with photographer Liana Lehman.
The show was longer than usual, because there were so many neat things to talk about. First is Liana's website at liana.tv We also talked about her upcoming Xtreme workshop, and you can hear more about that at xtremeseminar.com

In the discussion of workflow I mentioned some cool things I use including Auto Loader for cycling my edit image thru photoshop in a fast efficient manner, X-keys, and of course all the time saving tips I get from the OSP photography forum. That should pretty much cover it for the links this week.

This week I babbled a whole lot about some ideas about the future for us photographers. I still think it's a good topic however, because I think we need to keep ourselves thinking, and working to be better photographers, and to learn more more more...

I was also talking about the tireless war of film vs digital, and you can check out this article about some comparisons of that here. It's not completely recent, but still has some interesting information.

During my long topic on the future of our jobs, and motioned our business scaling to meet the changes, and read a few lines from an article about scaling by Tim Sanders, so check out his blog if you would like to read more about that.

Lensbabies has a new lens out for your lensbabies lovers

Alien Bee's is about to realease a new ringlight style strobe, it's not on the site yet, but they are taking some pre orders, and you can request a pdf info sheet by emailing them.

Other thanthat we pretty much just talked about some ideas in dealing with client's, and I also mentioned a fresh idea ragarding marketing on myspace and we'll talk about that more in a future show.

Here we are at show five, and another great week. Just some notes, and links this week regarding things discussed in the show. I mentioned Adobe Lightroom Beta 4 as well as Apple's 1.5 realease of their Aperture image management software, so check those out, and maybe download lightroom to try out as well. I also did a quick review on the latest Alien Skin product offerings that include Exposure & Blow Up and both those are worth checking out.

Here we are with our fourth show wrapped up. Wow it's coming along, and I hope everyone in enjoying the show. Anyway here's links to stuff we talked about this week.

First we mentioned an up and coming interveiw with Alien Skin Software, and we'll mention more details very soon.

The big topic this week was workflow, with photoshop actions, and how they can help us be better at what we do. I mentioned my favorite commercially available action sets from Kevin Kubota, as well as Craigs Actions. Both have some really great actions, and I suggest checking them out. I also mentined free free actions from the Adobe Studio Exchange, and that's a great place to share you actions, and get new ones.

We talked today about joining some new photography forums. First mentioned was Open Source Photo, an that is a free forum. Then Pro Photo Home, and you can become a member there for a fairly low cost. Next discussed was fredmiranda.com, where you can not only find a forum, but also lots of great reviews and comments about equipmemt you may be looking at purchasing etc. I also mentioned the digital image cafe, and there you can post photo's for crituiqe, enter contests, and all kinds of fun stuff.

Other than that we talked about ideas for taking charge, and presenting yourself professional, and confident to your client, but we don't really have many noted here exepct a link to overnightprints.com, where you can get a great deal on full color bussiness cards to add quality to your pro image.
